Registration for COVID-19 Vaccinations Available for DOMs

Register for COVID-19 vaccination and/or learn more about the vaccinations with two communications sent by the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department:

The New Mexico Department of Health is rolling out Phase 1A of the COVID-19 Vaccine. Due to your profession, you have been identified as eligible to receive the COVID-19 Vaccine during this phase. The Department of Health is vaccinating as many of the 1A populations as possible before transitioning to the next phase.
If you have not yet been vaccinated, please consider registering today at https://cvvaccine.nmhealth.org/.
You do not need an “event code.”
As you “register,” please indicate that your occupation is a “Healthcare” worker.
There is limited availability, so you will be notified when there is vaccine inventory at a location near you.
You will be asked to present your employment credentials to verify employment as Healthcare Personnel prior to receiving the COVID-19 Vaccine.

Friends: the State of New Mexico has launched its vaccine registration tool (see the press release below). Please share this information with other health professionals and ask them to share widely with their provider networks. Hospital staff should have received information directly from their hospital about vaccination opportunities. But others can sign up – and have their staff sign up – through the vaccination registration website:
New Mexico intends to include a wide array of providers and personnel (paid or unpaid) who have direct patient contact or could be exposed to infectious people or materials. Click on the Phase 1a Vaccine Distribution link below to learn more.
Employers can use the registration tool to submit their employee lists to the New Mexico Department of Health. The Department will review the submitted lists and – pending vaccine availability – coordinate vaccination appointments with providers in the area. Invitations will be sent via text, email, and phone calls to employees who have received approval. These communications will include an “Event Code” that will allow the employee to register.
